Since 2022, OCEOS has been at the forefront of LCO2 vessel development.

Building on the combined expertise of Air Liquide and Sogestran, who started work on LCO2 vessels in 2019, we have a range of technically mature and highly efficient ship designs ready to meet the demands of the growing CCUS market. These designs also form a solid basis for developing bespoke vessels for projects with specific needs.

Our available designs

• Sea-Going Vessels: A range of carrier designs from 5,000 m³ (5K) to 20,000 m³ (20K), suitable for offshore transport and large-volume projects.
• Hybrid Electric Drive: Our advanced 18,000 m³ (18K) hybrid vessel features a state-of-the-art hybrid electric drive, enabling zero emissions during critical near-terminal navigation and port operations.
• Inland Barges: A complete line of inland barge designs with capacities from 1,000 m³ (1K) to 9,000 m³ (9K), perfect for navigating European river networks.

All designs have undergone detailed consultations with shipyards, confirming their technical feasibility and readiness for construction.
